Before the Union Constitution Committee could transact any worthwhile business , the Mountbatten Plan of 3 June 1947 was announced . इससे पूर्व कि संघीय संविधान समिति कोई सार्थक कार्यवाही कर पाती , 3 जून , 1947 की माउंटबेटन योजना की घोषणा कर दी गई .

These included the Union constitution Committee , Union Powers Committee , Committees on Fundamental Rights , Minorities , etc . इनमें संघीय संविधान समिति , संघीय शक्ति समिति , मूल अधिकारों और अल्पसंख्यकों आदि से संबंधित समितियां शामिल थीं .

The Constitution Draft Committee and the Supreme Court consider this constitution as a Union Constitution, but some scholars differ from this opinion. संविधान प्रारूप समिति तथा सर्वोच्च न्यायालय ने इस को संघात्मक संविधान माना है परन्तु विद्वानों मे मतभेद है ।

The Union Constitution Committee meeting of 6 June 1947 tentatively decided that the Constitution should be a federal structure with a strong Centre , and that there should be three exhaustive lists with residuary powers vesting in the Centre . 6 जून , 1947 की बैठक में संघीय संविधान समिति ने अस्थायी रूप से निश्चय किया कि एक सशक्त केंद्र सहित संविधान का एक सशक्त सांचा-ढांचा हो और तीन सर्वांगपूर्ण सूचियां हों और अवशिष्ट शक्तियां केंद्र में निहित हों .

Between the third and the sixth sessions , the assembly considered the reports of committees on Fundamental Rights , on Union constitution , on Union Powers , on Provincial constitution , on Minorities and on Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes . संविधान सभा ने तीसरे तथा छठे सत्रों के बीच , मूल अधिकारों , संघीय संविधान , संघीय शक्तियों , प्रांतीय संविधान , अल्पसंख्यकों तथा अनुसूचित क्षेत्रों और अनुसूचित जातियों से संबंधित समितियों की रिपोर्टों पर विचार किया .

The Union Constitution Committee and the Provincial Constitution Committee decided , at a joint meeting on 5 June , that in view of the 3 June announcement , the limitations imposed by the Cabinet Mission 's plan on the form of the constitution no longer existed . संघीय संविधान समिति तथा प्रांतीय संविधान समिति ने 5 जून को एक संयुक्त बैठक में निश्चय किया कि 3 जून की घोषणा को देखते हुए संविधान के स्वरूप के बारे में कैबिनेट मिशन की योजना द्वारा थोपी गई सीमाएं समाप्त हो गई थीं .
